Advocating for a Healthy Michigan
Whether you are a veteran grassroots activist or have not yet tested the advocacy waters, this is an excellent opportunity to take the plunge and take a 'heart-healthy' message directly to Michigan lawmakers!
We'll gather in Michigan’s historic Capitol for an issue briefing then meet with representatives and senators in nearby office buildings.
Our mission is twofold:
1. To advocate for the smoke-free air bill that has been struggling through the system for many years.
2. To urge legislators’ to maintain funding in the state budget for the Healthy Michigan Fund.
There is no fee to attend.
