2022 Legacy Lecture

This year we honor Dr. Claire Duvernoy, FACC who has been a champion for ACC and an enthusiastic mentor throughout her career. Dr. Duvernoy was co-president of Michigan's Cardiology Fellows Society and after graduating continued her service to the Chapter as Women in Cardiology (WIC) Chair, Councilor, Conference Chair, and Chapter President. She went on to serve at the national level as a member of ACCs membership and nominating committees and chair of the WIC section. She was ultimately selected to sit on the College's prestigious Board of Trustees.

Dr. Duvernoy is a staff physician at the VA Ann Arbor Medical Center and Professor of Medicine at the University of Michigan. Beginning October 1st, she will serve as the National Program Executive Director for Cardiology for the Veterans Health Administration.
